Clocking In and Out
Clock in and out in Holiday Ocean 360, including GPS check-in for field employees, early leave requests, and what each attendance record stores.
Track your work hours
If your organization uses attendance tracking, you’ll see an Attendance card at the top of your home dashboard with a large clock-in button.
Attendance is only available on the Professional plan and above. If you don't see it, your organization hasn't enabled it yet.
Clocking in
- Open the home dashboard
- In the Attendance card, click
Clock In - If your shift policy requires GPS, your browser will ask permission to share location — approve it once
- The card flips to show your active session and a
Clock Outbutton
The clock-in time is stamped to the second. If you clock in after your shift’s grace period, the system records a late arrival violation automatically.
Clocking out
- When your shift ends, return to the home dashboard
- Click
Clock Out - The session ends and the worked hours are stored
If you forget to clock out, an HR admin can correct your record from the team attendance view.
Early leave requests
Need to leave before your shift ends? Don’t just clock out early — request approval first.
- On the Attendance card, click
Request Early Leave - Pick the time you need to leave
- Add a brief reason
- Submit — your manager will approve or reject through their inbox
Approved early leaves do not count as a violation. Unapproved early clock-outs do.
What gets recorded
Every clock action creates an entry in your attendance history, accessible at Attendance → History.

Common issues
Make sure location services are enabled in your phone's settings, and that the browser tab has permission. iOS Safari requires HTTPS — which the app already uses.
Contact your HR admin. They can edit attendance records from the team attendance dashboard. Don't just clock in for today — that won't fix yesterday's missing clock-out.
