Viewing Your Salary
See your salary in Holiday Ocean 360: what you can view, how deductions are calculated, your salary history, and how to dispute a deduction.
Your salary at a glance
If your HR admin has enabled salary visibility for your role, you’ll see a My Salary menu item in the sidebar.
Salary visibility is controlled per-employee by HR. If you don't see this section, your organization hasn't shared salary data with you yet — that's a policy decision, not a bug.
What you can see
The salary view shows:
| Section | Details |
|---|---|
| Base salary | Your contracted monthly amount |
| Components | Allowances (housing, transport, etc.) and additions |
| Deductions | Late arrival, absences, early leaves — itemized by date |
| Net salary | Final amount for the current pay period |
| History | Past months — net pay, total deductions, payment status |
How deductions are calculated
Deductions come from two sources:
- Attendance violations — late arrivals, early leaves, and absences are converted to monetary deductions according to the shift policy your HR admin configured.
- Manual deductions — added by HR with a reason (e.g., advance pay, equipment damage).
Each deduction line shows the date, reason, amount, and status (draft, finalized, paid).
Drafts are not yet applied to your salary. Only deductions marked finalized reduce your net pay.
Disputing a deduction
If you believe a deduction is incorrect:
- Click the deduction line to expand it
- Note the rule and date that triggered it
- Contact your manager or HR admin directly — there is no in-app dispute flow yet
HR can edit or remove a deduction while it’s still in draft state.
